Description
The NABC 2018 Fall Meeting will be held on October 3, 2018 at the HYATT Centric French Quarter Hotel in New Orleans. The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council will hold meetings at the same hotel on October 3 through 5.
The NABC Mississippi Tour will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. The cost is $80 each which covers the continental breakfast and your bus seat. Lunch will be sponsored by NABC Member, Sun Belle, Inc. The tentative schedule for the day will begin at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter Hotel with a light continental breakfast at 6:45am and boarding the buses at 7:30am. The buses will return to the hotel by 5:00pm. This tentative plan is subject to change or refinement.

7:30am - Board buses – Louisiana Motor Coach
Stops - Port of Gulfport – Tour Dole Banana Port (30th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501)
Gateway America – Tour Food Irradiation Center ( 4300 Air Cargo Rd. Gulfport, MS)
Great Southern Blueberry Farms – Tour (1729 Highway 15, Richton, MS 39476)
Sandy Run Blueberry Farms – Lunch & Tour (1155 Brooks Rd, Purvis, MS 39475)

Tentative Itinerary
Two 30-passenger charter buses will take you to the museum beginning at 5:30pm. It will be about a ten-minute ride. Walking is not recommended. This will be a private evening for the NABC! Movie at Victory Theater “Beyond All Boundaries” narrated by Tom Hanks will begin at 6:30pm. A Dinner Buffet at the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion will be served at 7:15pm. Galleries and exhibits in the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion are included. Evening ends at 9:30pm. Charter buses will return you to the Hyatt Centric French Quarter Hotel.
5:30pm Charter buses – leave for the World War II Museum. (a ten-minute ride)
6:30pm “Beyond All Boundaries” private showing in Victory Theater
7:15-9:30pm Dinner Buffet and cash bar in Louisiana Memorial Pavilion
